Mission Statement

The Chester County Public Library is a public institution providing services and resource information to meet the community residents' persnal, educational, and professional needs. Special emphasis on providing popular reading, listening, and viewing materials, and to stimulate young children's interest and appreciation for reading and learning.

Activities

• Preschool story-time every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• The Brown Bag Book Club meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are available in person or virtually. » Book Club for Adults Registration
• Word Weavers meets every 2nd Saturday
• Makerspace/STEAM area available in the juvenile/teen section of the library during normal library hours

 

With Your Library Card You May Check Out

• 15 books per card-due back in two weeks
• 2 audiobooks per card-due back in one week
• 1 STEAM Kit per household- due back in one week
• 4 DVDs per household-due back in one week
• 1 hotspot per household- due back in one week

 

Services Offered & Cost

• Color Copies or Prints - $0.25 a page
• Black and White Copies or Prints - $0.15
• Fax (receiving or sending) - $1.00 for first page & $0.50 for each page after
• Fax Confirmation Printhout - $0.15
• Cake Plans - Refundable $5.00 deposit
• Laminating - $0.50 a yard
• Scanning to Computer - Free
• Genealogy Room - Free
• Access to R.E.A.D.S. - Free
• Public Access Computers - Free
• Wi-FI inside the library or outside of the building - Free
• Conference Room for Non-Profit Groups - Free
• Use of Microfilm reader/printer - Free
